## Play-to-Earn

At its core, play-to-earn gaming is about giving gamers ownership over in-game assets and allowing them to increase their value and financially benefit from the platform.

Mythos will implement this model. Players will earn a variable amount of Mythos coin based on their in-game performance, which can be used in the armoury to purchase new items to increase their stats and attributes, or liquidated into fiat currencies.

## Ethereum & Layer 2

We are well aware of the sporadic high fees on the Ethereum blockchain. Therefore, we will migrate Mythos onto a layer 2 network in order to mitigate gas fees in-game.

## Norty Narwhal NFTs

Each Norty Narwhal is comprised from a selection of 236 hand-drawn assets that equates to 3.4 billion distinct narwhals.

Owners of a Norty Narwhal NFT can use their Narwhal in-game as their character within the Mythos Sea realm. This will allow players to start their adventure in Mythos with stat points already acquired based on their Narwhals features present on the NFT image. You can check your Narwhals given stats on OpenSea.
